She threw a sideways smile at Cut-kun when she saw him step beside her, the same determined look on his face as herself.

But then, the energy seemed to almost drain from him, and his fists lowered. Cassidy hesitated. Coyotes were 'pack animals,' and had 'pack leaders' that the others respected and depended on for protection. Cut-kun may not have known it, and Cassidy didn't quite understand it, but Cut-kun had sort of become her 'pack leader.' Most likely because he tried to protect her earlier. If Cut-kun wasn't confident in himself, than Cassidy wouldn't be, either.

Geo glanced over his shoulder in time to see Cut-kun lower his fists. Oh, for the love of - are we going to fight or not? he wondered desperately. He took a breath and said really loudly, "If you don't go away, I'll- we'll- I'll fight you! I will! And you- all of you-" he tossed the keycard at Cassidy. "Get in! I'll hold him off! Or something!"

Cassidy stared at the card in her hands for a moment. 'Maybe Cut-kun won't fight because he can't for some reason. Well, I can. And I will if I have to!'
With a sudden new-found burst of courage, she passed the keycard to Cut-kun. "You go. I'll help him."

(Side Note: Although I haven't finished my fanfic yet, I decided to come back. Roleplayers, rejoice! )

(Side Note 2: ...After reading the whole RP again, I think I see a Cassidy/Cut-kun pairing. Nah, just kidding.)

(Side Note 3: Also, I think Cut-kun is waiting for action. Someone shoot at him! Heheh...just kidding.)

Ice-kun watched as Cut-kun moved over to the unconscious bat beside him. Ice-kun frowned. Hey, no way! I'm supposed to be guarding this bat!

However, when he saw that the scissor 'bot was inspecting something on the bat's shoulder, he stared, confused. Oh, right...she was shot.

Ice-kun finally understood what was going on. Cut-kun was going to attend to the bat's wound. There was nothing that Ice-kun could really do...unless...

Ice-kun's eyes flashed. If the attacker felt like shooting at the scissor 'bot and the unconscious bat, it would be over the ice 'bot's dead body...

Ice-kun got up and stood in front of Cut-kun and the injured bat. They won't get by me without killing me first.

(Side Note: You did, too? LOL! Well, he was extreamly nice to her, and she felt slightly flustered when he introduced himself, and he did try to protect her. XD *is brick'd* ANYWAY, WELCOME BACK, ICEMAN! *glompsyou*)

Cassidy watched as Ice-Kun's eyes flashed. Thinking as fast as her terrified mind would let her, she handed the keycard to Ice-Kun. "Get Cut-kun and the injured person in there fast. I'll help hold this guy off or something!" She whispered to the ice robot.

Euronymus stood perfectly still, examining the body language of the beings in front of him. Still struggling with his overpowering bloodlust, his eyes flickered to green again. Interesting, he thought, they're planning to hold me off while the scissor-robot preforms medical services to my prey. They must not think I'm threatening. He let out a slow, dark chuckle that even seemed to make the unconsious bat shudder. Euronymus slowly reached into his jacket and pulled out the most menacing handgun he thought they've ever seen; And it would me the last. He flipped it around in his hand, loading 18 rounds into it in the process. He looked at the coyote with a playful grin. "These are fifty caliber explosive steel rounds alloyed with silver from a cathedral cross." He eyed the injured bat, "Not even her could eat these and survive for long. Care for a taste?" For a moment, his eyes turned that peircing emerald green as he looked over the bat. Erica, a foreign voice in his head crooned, and he quickly pushed it away.

(side note: LOL, Erica's lonley in the pairing department. XD)

(Side Note: You have no idea how tense I was reading that, Earth Master.. When he pulled out that gun and looked at Cassidy, I was almost too scared to keep reading. XD)

Cassidy's eyes widened in fear as the stranger pulled out a menacing handgun and glared at her, smirking evilly. She gulped, but stood her ground. 'He's not all that scary..' She lied to herself, trying to calm her fast-beating heart.

Euronymus glanced at Cassidy and shot her a wry smile. "Don't worry, I don't bite," He said in a falsely soothing tone, like melted chocolate.

He took slow steps toward the frightened coyote, his gun held loosely at his side. I hope she doesn't try anything, he thought, I want to have some fun with this. When he was an arm's reach from her, Euronymus lifted up his free hand and placed it softly on her cheek. "You remind me of someone..." He muttered, mostly to himself. He had no doubt everyone could feel the danger radiating off him like becon, but he payed no heed and continued examining the coyote.

When the wolf placed his hand on her cheek, Cassidy jumped away from him.

She suddenly felt her brown eyes become locked with his glowing green ones. She fought to look away from him. "Who?" She questioned, her voice shaking slightly.

"A young coyote I met many years ago. He has an uncanny resemblance to you, but he was much more vicious. The last time I saw him-" Euronymus was cut off by a screaming in his head; THE LAST TIME WE SAW HIM, HE MADE ERICA THINK I BETRAYED HER AND THEN- Euronymus clutched his head in fury, "SHUT UP, VALENTINE!" his mind roared, and the other voice subsided. He was about to continue to converse with the coyote, but he realized he had shouted those words out loud.

Geo quickly slipped between Cassidy and the intruder. "Look, unless you're a diplomat or somethin' like that, you aren't allowed here! And you're obviously not here to negotiate, what with the gun and all. And whatever it is you want, it'll have to wait! Don't make me use this," he added shakily, holding up his gun. Suddenly, his foot slipped into the ground. The shadows were trying to pull him in again... Not now, he whispered to the darkness. Not now, not now - I'm not going to run away again...

Half of her wanted to run back to Cut-kun and Ice-kun, but the other half told her to stay put. She knew if she moved then the wolf-person would probably try to kill them. 'I won't let him hurt my freinds...' She thought determindly. Her ears pricked and her eyes lit up. She stayed beside Geo.

Cut-kun watched from the unconscious bat's side as the scene unfolded into an intense situation. The situation was looking grim for Cassidy and Geo, and for the two robots as well. The scissor robot glanced back at the bat. He still had yet to remove the bullet.

A scientist should always be prepared for something like this...

Cut-kun reached into his bag and searched for something that would help. After a few seconds of searching, he found what he needed; thin, long tweezers. He pulled it out of the bag and inspected the bat's shoulder again.

The bullet is not too deep into her shoulder...that will make things easier...

Cut-kun raised the tweezers in one hand and brought it to the bat's wound.

Careful, Cut-kun. One wrong move could make the bullet penetrate through her flesh further...

Cassidy's ears perked backwards, catching the slight noise from behind her. Cut-kun was searching for something. He must have found it, as the noise stopped.

For two seconds, she allowed her eyes leave the wolf in front of her and she glanced behind her. Cut-kun was about to attempt to help the bat. 'Go Cut-kun! You can do it! You've got to!' She cheered silently.
