Geo tilted his head as well. "Nowhere else, eh? We accept all orphans, vengeance seekers, and robots as well," he said jokingly. "Go inside with miss guinea pig here...and what 'bout you?" he added, turning to the second robot.

(Side note: You all forgot about Ice-kun bleeding! Hehehe...)

Ice-kun kept a hand over his bleeding wound.

"Well, I actually ran away from my...'home'...a few years ago. My own creator decided to shut me down for good one day, so I escaped the night I found out about it. I took these human clothes with me, gained a new identity, and here I am."

He glanced over his shoulder.

"But I'm still kind of on the run...I don't know if he still wants to come after me and shut me down for good."

"Orphans, vengeance seekers, robots and runaways, whoever you are, as long as you aren't evil, you're welcome," said Geo, pulling out another napkin from his pocket. "Here, just hold this to your head."

(Side note: Oh...I suppose we did...Hahaha...)

Cut-kun frowned slightly. Robots didn't have real blood, so technically, their oil, or any other liquid, couldn't clot; they weren't organic. But he didn't know anything about the other robot's system. Maybe he had an 'Automatic Repair Program' installed into his system. Cut-kun couldn't tell. The napkin might help for a little while, and maybe that was all they needed. If the robot had an 'Automatic Repair Program', it would make things easier. If not, then maybe he could help.

He readjusted the strap of the duffel bag on his shoulder. We may as well find out.

(Side note: ..."Ohnoes" made me laugh a little...sorry.)

(side note: sorry I was gone yesterday, my family went out shopping for a while and then gramma and grampa came over, so that killed the day. And I might not be able to reply today. I've got lots of work.)

Cassidy pinned her ears back slightly when the duck called her, 'Miss guinea pig.' At least he didn't call me 'Heidi' or 'dog.'

"Sorry to correct your English, but my name is Cassidy. What might be your name?" The question was open to all three of them. Seeing as how she might be traveling with the robots, she might as well know their names.

Ice-kun put the napkin to his wound and turned to look at the coyote.

"My name? I'm Ice-kun."

He glanced back at the other two.

"I'm not sure about Scientist Scissors over there, or the other guy."

"Nice to meet you, Ice-kun."

Cassidy gave Ice-kun a smile. He seemed nice. The duck, however, she wasn't so sure about. As for the other robot, she would have to wait and see.

(Side note: Ah, I see. Working in a farm must be a handful.)

Cut-kun frowned at the other robot's nickname for him. 'Scientist Scissors'? He shook his head, then turned to look at the coyote.

"Ah...How rude of me for not introducing myself."

He smiled warmly.

"I am Cut-kun, although my creator called me by a human name."

Bowing courteously, he made sure not to touch the coyote with his cutters.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Cassidy."

Cassidy stepped back slightly when the robot bowed to her. "Thanks. It's nice to meet you, too, Cut-kun."

She wondered where this, 'center cell' was. Only one way to find out. "Well, I guess I should be going, now." Cassidy turned and began to walk towards the gates. She was secretly hoping that at least one of the robots would come with her. She liked them. But she left it up to them.

Cut-kun watched as Cassidy started to make her way to the gates. He looked back at Ice-kun and the duck, who hadn't introduced himself yet.

"...Are you going with her?"

Not really waiting for an answer, he turned back to watch the coyote.

"If you are not going, I may as well follow her."

With that, he started to follow Cassidy.

(Side note: ...Darn, I had something to say, but I forgot.)

Ice-kun stared as Cut-kun followed the coyote. I better go after them...Cassidy and Scientist Scissors...err, Cut-kun...I don't want to be left alone...

"Hey! Wait up!"

He started to run after them, not wanting to be left behind.

Hearing voices behind her, Cassidy turned around. She smiled when she saw Ice-kun and Cut-kun following her.

"Thanks." She smiled.

If Andrew could see me now, traveling with two robots and my beloved Twizzler, the only thing he would say is, 'typical.' Cassidy felt a pang in her heart as she remembered the family she had to leave when she was only little. Andrew, her older brother, was her closest friend besides Twizzler. She had never known her mother. It was always her, Andrew, and their father. When she was eleven years old, their father's attitude changed, for the worst. Fearing for her and her brother's lives, Cassidy urged Andrew to run away with her. But Andrew refused. Cassidy fled, and she never saw him again.

He's probably dead now. I wish I could've convinced him to come with me. A tear trickled down her face. She missed her brother so much.

Cut-kun smiled back. She seemed very nice. He was lucky to have come across such a nice person. It had been years since he had met a nice person like her; most of the time, people screamed when they saw him, as some people seemed to fear him just due to the cutters on his head...

Suddenly, he frowned as a strange liquid trickled down Cassidy's face. Was something wrong?

"...Cassidy? You appear to be leaking...are you all right?"

Ice-kun stared at the other robot, shocked.

"Wha...? Leaking?! That's a tear!"

He tore off a piece of the napkin that the duck had given him and handed it to Cassidy.

"Err...is something wrong, Cassidy?"

Leaking? Cassidy realized what he meant. She wiped away the tear hurriedly, blushing. "Yeah, I.... I'm fine." She stammered.

Cassidy took the piece of napkin from Ice-kun. "Thanks."

Maybe I should tell them. Or maybe I should just forget this. There's nothing I can do about it, anyway.

"No. Everything's.... okay."

Cutman · Cut-kun

Cut-kun crossed his arms, frowning deeply.

"I may not be experienced in the study of organic emotions, but I know that a...what was it? A tear? I know that 'tears' are usually a sign of sadness. I remember that from years ago."

His cutters clicked together twice.

"Why not tell us?"

Iceman · Ice-kun

Ice-kun nodded.

"Scientist Scissors is right; no need to keep things bottled up."

He could feel Cut-kun's glare; he had called him 'Scientist Scissors' again, but it was sort of an accident.

Cassidy felt a slight smile play on her lips. They were acting just like Andrew used to. She sighed.

"Well, it's a long story. When I was little, I had a family, just me, my brother -Andrew- and my father. My brother and I were inseperable. My father's attitude took a turn for the worst, and I began to fear for mine and my brother's lives. I insisted that we run away, but he refused. Soon, I gave up and left. I've been trying to find him, but...." She paused to bite her lip to keep herself from crying. "I've had no luck. I'm afraid that... he's dead." She whispered the last two words. She wondered how her new friends would react to her story.

(Edit Side Note: 'Scientist Scissors' makes me laugh. LOL)

Looking bemusedly from robot to coyote to robot, Geo decided to stay quiet and unlock the Gates. Scientist Scissors...everything has to be alliteration, he thought, frowning as he searched his pocket for the keycard. His hand brushed past a smooth, cold stone, and he remembered his sister - well, they had called each other siblings, and for all they knew, they were. What would Crystal say?

Alliteration occurs often in everyday life. It's like an unwritten law in the universe or somethin' that forces us all to use it when we're mocking people.

Ah, yes. That's what she would say.

(side note: I can't find the keycard -looks through Geo's pocket-)

(Side note: 'Scientist Scissors'...That made me smirk a bit.)

After glaring at Ice-kun for a bit, Cut-kun frowned, turning to look at Cassidy. What a sad tale... He couldn't leak tears, but he could feel sadness for the coyote. He could feel his cutters click together slowly in sorrow.

"I have never had a brother...just a creator."

He looked at the ground.

"But...he was like a father to me."

He turned away from the both of them.

"...I know what it is like to lose someone dear to you."

He sighed.

"...At least you had a family."

He glanced back at the duck, considering calling him and asking if he wanted to join them.

(Side note: ...KH2? You have that game?)

(side note: Oddity, you have kh2? I beat it, but forgot to save. XD)

Erica remained hidden in the tree's branches a fair distance away from the beings who called themselves Cut-kun, Ice-kun, and Cassidy. She was studying the faint images of Cut-kun and Ice-kun and detected no life signs from either of them. Then, her thoughts switched towards the duck and what he was guarding. I must gather more information about the Center Cell before I can infiltrate it, she thought. Just then, a large branch broke off the tree and crashed to the ground. Erica bolted from the scene, heading to what she had just heard; a gunshot. And it wasn't far away.

(side note: I finally found when I can squish in my character!)

(Side note: Ehh...I think it's a little late to join. But if it's ok with the_Oddity...And your character intro seemed a little rushed.)

Ice-kun looked at Cassidy, feeling sadness.

"...I'm sorry to hear that."

He started to lift his hand to put it on her shoulder in comfort, but decided against it; she might not want him to touch her.

"I've never had a family...or anyone who cared about me."

He put a thumb to his chest.

"I'm a runaway, too...but for a different reason."

Cassidy felt a little better, having told them. She looked at Cut-kun. "Oh. I'm sorry. What happened to him?" She then realized what she had just said. "Sorry, if you don't want to talk about it, just pretend I didn't say that."

When Ice-kun began to speak, she turned to look at him. "Thanks. I'm sorry." She felt sad for the both of them. Ice-kun may not have had anyone who cared about him before, but that was going to change. Cassidy was glad she had met them.

Cut-kun nearly did a double-take at Cassidy's question. She wanted to know his past? Pausing for a few seconds, he tried to recollect the memory from his data banks. If she really wants to know, I should not hold back.

"...I was not always a scientist, you know. My original purpose was to work with builders and help with construction...Hence the cutters."

He pointed to his cutters as they clicked together.

"...But as I gained more experience and knowledge of the world, I developed a personality. My creator was shocked when he found out...but he knew that I was developing a stronger Artificial Intelligence System, so he had me work in the laboratory instead. He even gave me a human name: Jason."

His mouth started to form into a smile as he recalled his memory.

"I enjoyed working with the machines and formulas...I even helped out with experiments after getting over my nervousness."

His mouth formed into a deep frown.

"One day ended my happiness...My creator worked in a laboratory with other scientists, you see, and I was assigned a project away from my creator. I overheard that most of the scientists were working on a dangerous experiment, and my creator was included in it. One of them made an error, and caused a huge explosion."

He could hear the screaming again in his memory...

"Many scientists were caught in the blast and died instantly. Others were fatally wounded. I was left with minor scratches, as the other scientists were organic; they didn't have armor or a metal body to protect them."

He could remember panicking, watching as things caught fire...

"I ran around the whole laboratory, looking for my creator...I finally found him...under a large piece of what appeared to be metal, but I was panicking at the time, so I had no idea what it was..."

He remembered trying to save his creator, struggling...

"I tried to move the large piece of metal, but I had not been built for strength; my effort was in vain. I can remember my creator's last words...'Jason, creating you was the happiest moment of my life...I was overjoyed when you gained a higher AI System...I'm happy to have created you, Jason...Never forget that.'"

Cut-kun looked at the ground.

"He died in my arms. The fire from the explosion raged on, and I realized that I had to leave. I grabbed a duffel bag, grabbing things that I could take with me to remember my creator by. I was Jason, the robot scientist, but now...My new identity is 'Cut-kun'. That was my unit name."

He couldn't leak tears, but he felt immense sorrow for remembering.

"...That was almost four years ago...I am six years old in human years now...The worst part is...I never knew my creator's name."

(side note: Yes, I have Kingdom Hearts 2, and yes, Earth Master can join, I suppose, if it's okay with the rest of you.
...suddenly, I realize I feel left out. :P)

"...I found the keycard," said Geo quietly, drawing out the blank piece of plastic from his pocket. As he took it out, a small stuffed bear fell out, squeaking as it bounced on the ground. He hastily picked it up before asking, "Ready to go in?"

(side note: I know I came in late and my character intro was rushed, but I have never done this before. D:)

A faint squeak coming from the north gates interrupted Erica's concentration as she tried to find where the gun shot came from. Her ears perked up as she finally heard someone fire another bullet into the fog; except this one was closer. Way closer. Surely the people at the gate could hear it by now, Erica thought as she dashed towards the nearby forest for cover. She wanted to follow Ice-kun, Cut-kun, Cassidy, and the duck, but remaining hidden was the only way to ensure that the gunman wasn't aiming at her.
When another round whizzed past her ear, Erica started flying towards the north gates until she felt a blinding pain in her right shoulder. She looked at where it hurt and found she was bleeding. Erica had no choice but to crashland on the hard ground. Right in fron of the people she was spying on. Another Gunshot echoed as she slowly faded out of consciousness.

"Damn," she muttered.

(side note: sorry for the mild language, people!)

(Side note: ...Err...I'm confused. Erica just crash-landed in front of our characters? That's...uh...I can't think of the word.)
(Side note 2: I'm not sure how to react to that...I'll post what I was going to post before I was playing "Quest for Glory".)

Ice-kun frowned. The other robot's story was depressing. He wasn't sure if it measured up to Cassidy's story, but they were pretty close in sadness. A certain part of Cut-kun's story made something inside Ice-kun break, a stabbing pain where he assumed a heart might be had he been human.

"Your creator called you 'Jason'?"

Before Cut-kun could answer, Ice-kun heard the duck speak.

"...I found the keycard."

There was a squeaking sound, but before he could identify where it came from, the duck spoke again.

"Ready to go in?"

Ice-kun nodded, waiting for the others to respond.

(Side note: I'm not trying to discourage, I'm just confused. Sorry, Earth Master.)

(side note: This reminds me of when the only computer time I really had was at school, during lunch. Then I would mostly post 'IMISSEDSOMETHINGOHCRAP'. xD
Perhaps we should make a turn order in which we post.)

Faint gunshot noises came from behind the group, but before Geo had time to register that fact, a bat crashlanded straight in front of them.

"Bloody m- where the-"

That's when Geo recognizeed the gunshot sounds.

"Hit the deck!" he yelled to the others, raising his gun. The fog prevented him from seeing anything, but the targeting system automatically switched on a brilliant blue light, showing any hidden figures. "Who's there? I-I'm armed! Drop your weapon and show yourself!"

(side note: now I'm off to go write a fanfic for my friend Alyssa)

The crash-landing bat confused Ice-Kun, but the gunshots shook him out of his confusion. When the duck yelled for them to hit the deck, Ice-kun dropped to the ground. Gah, this is crazy!

(Side note: This is getting interesting...)

When the bat crashed into the ground before them, Cut-kun stared, stunned. Is that blood on their shoulder...? He wanted to kneel down and inspect the injury, but the duck's shout for them to get down and the sound of gunshots made him think otherwise. He had the urge to drop to the ground beside Ice-kun, but realized that Cassidy was still standing.

Instead, he shielded the coyote with his own body, hoping that, even with his small frame, he could protect her.

Cassidy shrieked in suprise when she heard someone crash in front of them. She thought she saw blood on the bat's shoulder. Even though the duck yelled for them to get down, she was to freaked out to respond. Much to her suprise, Cut-kun stepped in front of her, sheilding her from any bullets that might fly from the duck's weapon. His small frame easily shielded her very small body. She peeked around him. The duck was standing beside the fallen bat, pointing his gun into the fog, demanding that whoever was there to show themselves. She kept silent, not sure what to do.

Ice-kun frowned. He was the only one who had taken the duck's orders. Did that make him a coward? He shook his head angrily. I'm not a coward! He got to his feet. I may look human, but I'm a robot, and robots don't get scared!

Looking around, he could see Cut-kun shielding Cassidy. Darn it. Instead of arguing with the other robot, he remembered the injured bat that had crash-landed near them. He knelt beside the bat, wanting to get some answers, but decided not to touch them when he saw the blood flowing from its shoulder. He decided to stay near the bat in case something even worse happened.

I feel like swearing. Really loudly.

Despite the blue light, no being nor weapon was showing through the fog. Geo raised his voice again.

"Declare yourself, or I'll- use this! I will! Don't think I won't!"

It suddenly occured to him how stupid that sounded.

...I love that phrase. :D)

Cassidy's heart lept into her throat. She just realized how defenceless she looked, hiding behind Cut-kun. Being dry enough to use her flame-throwing powers, she stepped out from behind Cut-kun. Her eyes began to glow light blue.

I'm ready.

(Side Note: Ohnoes! *falls over for no apparent reason*)

(Side note: It is still foggy, correct? I thought fog was a form of moisture...)

Cut-kun watched as Cassidy stepped out from behind him, noticing that her eyes were glowing a light blue colour. He stared, somewhat confused. Organics do not have glowing eyes...Unless...Does she have special abilities? This meant that she could defend herself, and that she was no ordinary organic being.

Remembering the situation, he turned back to face the direction of where the gunshots came from. He could feel his eyes darken as he felt strange energies flow through his circuitry. He clenched his fists.

I can do this.

Geo felt his knees giving way as he struggled to keep his weapon up. "Show yourself!"

The dark shadows beneath the trees began to creep around him. Not now, not now, he pleaded silently, watching them trying to pull him away to safety. Not now, not now, not now...

A dim blue light barely cut through the fog and a tall anthro wolf stood stock-still, out of sight. His eyes, Sclera and all, were pitch black and silently scanned the four brings that were gathered where the anthro bat landed. The wolf bared his black teeth and ran his fingers through the crimson fur on his head. He glanced at the smoking gun still in his grasp and tossed it violently towards the group, and heard it make contact with the bat's temple. Then, the anthro wolf simply walked out of the fog and stopped a fair distance away from the five beings.
"Now that I have made my presence known," He said, "I believe you have something I want." And he eyed something that was dangling around the anthro bat's neck.

Geo glanced down at the unconcious bat. "Er - well, you can't have it," he said bravely. "So...go away now. Please?" he added hopefully.

The crimson-haired wolf simply gazed at the duck and let out a bloodcurdling cackle.
"Oh, I don't think you want me to get violent..." His voice had a very non-threatening tone, that seemed extremely false.
The clouds suddenly parted to reveal the full moon and its light bathed the five beings that stood there. But as soon as the pale light reflected in Euronymus's eyes, everything changed. They started fo flicker green...

Cassidy froze. Not only was the stranger the freakiest-looking thing she had ever seen, but now, his eyes were changing. She had a feeling that this could not be good. She glanced from the werewolf to Cut-kun to Ice-cun to the duck and back again. Then she remembered the bat who was lying on the ground.

'Yeah, the moment I start to get somewhere everything hits at the same time....'

'But, maybe I can scare him off..... I doubt it, but maybe.' She hesitated. She did not like the tone he used. 'Maybe it's best to back off and see if he'll just leave.... Please leave."
